A few cute summer pics

The summer is almost over so I thought I would post a few of the cuter pictures of Kaylen from the summer. In the first one, she has two french braids... first time her hair has been long enough to do that! The second one is from after the video in the previous post... remember, she wanted me to take a picture of her! And the third is a cute one of K, Muggs and Allen having a Sunday afternoon nap.

Kaylen's a Dancer!

This has been cracking me up lately. I don't want to miss getting it recorded so I am putting it out here for safe keeping (and for your amusement)! I have no idea why but lately when she dances, she closes her eyes and gets into it. Hilarious! Here is the best of the 3 videos I took:

5 whole years!

So, we've been married for 5 years now! Time really does go by so fast! I am so thankful for the life I have with my sweet husband.

Allen, Thanks for being such a great husband and amazing dad! We really are great complements to each other. I am glad that God has put us together. I look forward to all that God has in store for us in the years to come.

PS... we will all see how long it takes Allen to learn about this being on the blog! He really never looks at it!!!

Kaylen and Her Friends

Emily, Hollie and I took the kids out for a day of fun. The people at Bridge Street thought that they would preform a little maintenance on the children's fountain so we had to alter our plans and take the kids downtown. Anyway, the day turned out to be a blast.

On a side note, I have to say that as I am writing this my child is standing in timeout screaming. She thought she would bite me. I am talking a big ole bruise in a not so friendly place. This is the second time she has tried to bite and I think we are in for quite an interesting time trying to break this new lovely habit. The thing is... she did it out of anger because she was about to be put in timeout for throwing her cup. GRRRRRRR. Anyway, she is cute in the pictures... I hope you like them!

Busy Summer!

After San Francisco, Kaylen and I went to Indiana and Ohio. The picture of me and Susie is from that visit.


We also visited my friend, Jodi... but for some reason she wont give me a picture of us! I also saw my sister on the way up. The trip was difficult mainly due to the fact that we are potty training.


So we took many breaks to use the potty. Thankfully I had a travel potty so we didn't have to get out of the car. We did have one tee-tee accident. That made things interesting since Kaylen had to sit in a wet seat until we got there. Yuck.

The next week I went on a youth retreat to a camp called Big Stuff. I had 5 girls in my room and it was an unbelievable week. What a blessing it is to work with these girls and with this youth group for that matter! They are challenging me to a closer walk with God - that is for sure!
